My King and I

A new, exciting, inspirational book and guide has arrived to invite little ones to Jesus in the
Eucharist!
While target audiences are catechists, DREs, homeschool parents or any Catholic
parent wishing to teach their child about Eucharistic Adoration, this can also be used as an
inspirational book for reverts to the faith. It may also be used as a stand-alone guide for a
child to learn about Adoration on their own. 
DREs, catechists, and homeschool parents will take a particular interest in this book
because it will help them as a guide. My King and I: A First Visit with Our Eucharistic Lord was
written to help teachers and parents easily create a 60-90 minute lesson plan for a religious
education class. Its purpose is to introduce the concept and help teach children how to approach
our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament.
It would include all the elements necessary to use during the lesson, taking them through
step by step, including the ‘Note to Parent/Teacher, a glossary of terms, and labeling page
detailing the holy vessels and vestments used during Exposition. It also presents an example of
a child’s first joyful and grace-filled experience in poetry. Finally, it includes a prayer that may
be said privately or communally, and a final meditation summarizing the visit and helping
children say goodbye to their Lord.
